You need an account to create standards, vote, or comment. You must provide accurate information when signing up.

One person, one account. Creating multiple accounts to manipulate votes or bypass restrictions will get you banned.

You're responsible for keeping your account secure. If someone else accesses your account, you're still responsible for what happens.

We can suspend or delete accounts that violate these terms.

No hate speech. Don't attack people based on race, ethnicity, religion, gender, sexual orientation, disability, or other protected characteristics.

No harassment. Don't target, threaten, or intimidate other users.

No spam. Don't post repetitive content, advertise products, or flood the platform with low-quality submissions.

No illegal content. Don't post content that violates laws or encourages illegal activity.

No impersonation. Don't pretend to be someone you're not.

Stay on topic. Normia is for civic standards. Partisan political content, personal disputes, or off-topic material may be removed.

You own what you create. By posting on Normia, you give us a license to display, distribute, and store your content as part of operating the platform.

Your content is public. Standards, comments, and votes are visible to everyone. Think before you post.

We can remove content that violates these terms or is otherwise harmful to the community.

We verify users through email, phone, and AI interviews. This is to ensure one person = one voice.

Attempting to bypass verification through fake information, multiple phone numbers, or other means will result in account termination.

Verification tiers grant different privileges. We reserve the right to change these at any time.

Normia is a platform for proposing and discussing standards. We're not a government, we don't make laws, and we can't guarantee any standard will be implemented anywhere.

Standards on Normia represent community proposals, not official policies. Vote counts reflect community sentiment, not legal mandates.

We don't endorse any particular standard. The presence of a standard on our platform doesn't mean we agree with it.

Normia is provided "as is" without warranties. We don't guarantee uptime, data preservation, or that the platform will work exactly as expected.

We're not responsible for content posted by users. If you see something that violates these terms, report it.

We're not liable for any damages arising from your use of the platform, to the extent permitted by law.
